In Fargo, near a place where the roads called I-29 and 52nd Ave. S meet, police set up a spot to check if drivers were drunk. They did this last Saturday 16 March 2024.

During the check, which lasted from 5 p.m. to 7:30 p.m., the police stopped 13 cars out of 1,000 that passed by. They found two drivers who were drunk and arrested them. They also gave out tickets to four people for having drugs and two for having drug stuff.

After the check, the police kept driving around looking for more drunk drivers. They caught four more drunk drivers and one person who refused to take a drunk test. They also gave out three tickets to people who were driving even though they weren’t allowed to, and tickets for other things like having drugs, not wearing seatbelts, and texting while driving.

One of the drunk drivers they caught had crashed their car and got hurt a little bit on a road called I-94.
