Law enforcement agencies across California are increasing DUI enforcement efforts this weekend with sobriety checkpoints, DUI saturation patrols, and specialized DUI/DRE enforcement teams. Officers will be looking for impaired drivers, suspended licenses, and other traffic violations throughout multiple cities and counties.

If you plan on going out this weekend, make arrangements for a safe ride home before drinking. Authorities continue to remind drivers that DUI enforcement operations are conducted to reduce alcohol-related crashes, injuries, and fatalities.

Los Angeles County DUI Enforcement

📍 Los Angeles
The Los Angeles Police Department announced several DUI operations throughout the city this weekend.

DUI Saturation Patrols – 77th and Southeast Division

Officers assigned to the 77th Street and Southeast areas will conduct saturation patrols targeting drivers suspected of being under the influence of alcohol or drugs.

DUI Enforcement Teams – 77th and Southeast Division

Specialized DUI enforcement teams will patrol high-traffic corridors and nightlife areas searching for impaired drivers.

Drug Recognition Expert (DRE) officers will participate in DUI patrols focused on detecting drug-impaired driving.
